Thorsen Group invests in community and well-being: World Championship jerseys to become a focal point at upcoming headquarters

Twenty-one original national team jerseys from the Danish men’s national handball team’s historic World Championship triumph in January 2025 will take pride of place at Thorsen Group’s upcoming headquarters in Erritsø near Fredericia.
The exclusive set of jerseys, which forms part of a broader partnership agreement between Danish Handball (DanskHåndbold) and Thorsen Group, is signed by the respective players and was sent directly from the final match in Oslo to the Kolding-based investment company. The jerseys have now been professionally framed and mounted.
While the jerseys are part of the partnership between Thorsen Group and Danish Handball, the agreement is about far more than decoration for the investment company.
As part of the collaboration, the parties have also chosen to support the Julemærkehjemmene through a joint donation. The investment thus represents a tangible contribution to improving the well-being of children and young people—an area Thorsen Group considers a shared social responsibility.
“We believe it is important that we collectively take responsibility for ensuring the well-being of children. We have chosen to support handball and the Julemærkehjemmene because this allows us to help create strong communities and promote well-being for children who need a fresh start,” says Lars Frøvang Thomsen, CEO of Thorsen Group.
The jerseys will be displayed at Thorsen Group’s upcoming headquarters and will serve as a daily gathering point and a reminder of what can be achieved when strong communities and long-term investments go hand in hand.
